Delete your account

Remark by Alternator Studio LLC

You can delete your Remark account and all of your data at any time. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

Delete in the app

This is the fastest way. Your data is deleted immediately.

  1. Open Remark and go to Settings (the You tab).
  2. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the Account section.
  3. Confirm it's you: re-enter your password, or choose your Google account again.
  4. Tap Delete my account.

Don't have the app anymore?

Email support@alternator.cc from the email address you use for Remark and ask us to delete your account. We'll delete your account and all its data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in
  • Every voice recording, including the audio files and transcripts
  • Day summaries, mood scores and tags
  • Your badges, including the ones you created and the ones you earned
  • Insights and monthly reports
  • Your settings and Remark Plus status, including your record at our subscription provider, RevenueCat

Nothing is kept for later, and a deleted account can't be restored. If you sign up again with the same email, you'll start with a fresh, empty account.

Have Remark Plus?

Deleting your account does not cancel your Remark Plus subscription. Google Play handles billing, so please cancel it there first, or Google Play will keep charging you: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Remark → Cancel subscription.
